So when it comes to the realms of dating, in the early stage of dating in 2015, I met a gentleman on POF.
Now I will remind you this was the early stages of dating when I wasn’t sure what I wanted. I wasn’t sure how I was supposed to be dating, and this was probably when I was more reckless with my time. I thought it would be an excellent idea for the first day to meet him at his home Yes, I know you’re scoffing, you’re rolling your eyes, and you’re like, girl, what the fuck is wrong with you?
so the meetup was at his home, and we stayed outside.
I never went inside his apartment, and we talked and did what he suggested we would do, which was catch a vibe
oh yea that “catch a vibe” just meant talking outside on the porch of his apartment complex. This is when I found out that this man had just recently got out of jail and he had one leg, which I did not know from his dating profile. My intuition advised me to leave then, so I made up some excuse to go home and leave.
Over a week after this encounter, This man blew up my phone regularly, texting me all day, and if I was not responding fast enough because I was working, he proceeded to get a little angry in his messages.
I eventually blocked him and continued with my life; and a few months later, he was involved in a police shooting because he was trying to rob a McDonald’s; this man was on the news and everything. I’m grateful that my intuition told me to leave him alone, and I had the opportunity to block him because I am confident he probably would have hurt me.
Another time intuition saved me, I will take it back to 2004 to 2005.
My best friend and I Pherron decided that we were going to go to a club because I was trying to make a point that I was still that girl to my husband at the time; we were also going there to watch and see how he was going to act as well it was a very covert operation l lol.
So I showed up at the club; he saw me that was all I needed to solidify everything, and my intuition told me that it was time for us to dip out a little earlier. Usually, anytime I went out to the club with my friends at this point, we’d always stay to the club was closed. This particular night, I came there on a mission; intuition told me to go home, so we did. The next day when I had a conversation with my ex-husband, I found out since he stayed at the club, that there was actually a club shooting that occurred that night.
My ex-husband was so close to the shooting that he could get away without getting hurt,
but I probably would have stayed in his immediate proximity if I had decided to stay when the club closed. Another time that I made a decision based on my intuition was solely because my job was stressing me out.
I got a job,
which was a pretty easy and smooth transition from one position to another. I absolutely love where I am now. My job is terrific, The people I work with are amazing, and I’m making great money.
